Further improvements to honour the UK's war veterans are being put in place today, Secretary of State for Defence John Reid announced on Remembrance Sunday.

Culture Minister David Lammy has announced plans to 'list' six 2nd World War Memorial Cottages in Sprowston, Norfolk. Subject to public views, the houses are set to become Grade 2 listed buildings.
