Stranded 100 foot up a cliff

Two eighteen year old girls from Plymouth have been airlifted to safety after climbing 100 foot up the sea cliffs near Looe in South East Cornwall. They became stuck approximately 10 feet from the top.

This afternoon at 1:22pm Humber Coastguard received a Mayday call on VHF Ch 16 from the 38 foot yacht 'Thalassa', reporting they had ran aground on Longstone Island (Farne Islands).
