These Regulations are made under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (c.13) to make corrections to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/411), the Iran (Sanctions) (Nuclear) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/461), the ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida (United Nations Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/466) and the Counter-Terrorism (International Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019.
These Regulations are made under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (c.13) to establish a sanctions regime under that Act in relation to Russia. These Regulations are made for the purpose of encouraging Russia to cease actions destabilising Ukraine or undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty or independence of Ukraine. Following the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union, these Regulations will replace the EU sanctions regimes in relation to Russia. The EU sanctions regimes are currently implemented via EU Council Decisions and Regulations.
This Order empowers the North Devon District Council (“the Councilâ€) as the harbour authority for Ilfracombe Harbour to construct and maintain a new harbour wall and a slipway from the new watersports centre in The Strand, Ilfracombe extending into the bed and foreshore of Ilfracombe Harbour.
This Order revokes and replaces the Ilfracombe Harbour Revision Order 2019 (S.I. 2019/798) which did not include a laid date or a coming into force date.
These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in section 8(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c.16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under 8(2)(a), (b), (c), (d) and (g)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
The Order amends Schedule A1 to the Ecclesiastical Fees Measure 1986 (which sets out the matters in respect of which parochial fees may be prescribed) so that funeral and burial fees are no longer payable in respect of persons aged 16 or 17, and so that fees may be prescribed in connection with funerals that are held in funeral directors’ premises. It also amends the definition of “cemetery†Schedule A1 so that it includes burial grounds other than those that are maintained by a burial authority.
These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in section 8(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) (“the 2018 Actâ€) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(a), (d) and (g)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. The Regulations make amendments to legislation in the field of civil aviation.
