These Regulations prohibit the daytime use by heavy commercial vehicles of the offside lane of the both carriageways of the M11 motorway between junctions 8 and 9.
These Regulations implement Regulation (EU) 2018/644 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 April 2018 on cross-border parcel delivery services to the extent that it has not been implemented by existing legislation and procedures. The EU parcel services regulation sets out the minimum harmonisation requirements for cross-border parcel delivery service providers.
These Regulations make amendments to regulations 4 and 7 of the Scotland Act 2016 (Transitional) Regulations 2017 (S.I. 2017/444) (“the Transitional Regulationsâ€).
These Regulations introduce variable speed limits to—the eastbound and the westbound carriageways of the M4 motorway between junctions 3 and 12; andcertain roads for joining and for leaving the M4 motorway between those junctions.
This Order amends the Insolvency Practitioners and Insolvency Services Account (Fees) Order 2003 (the “principal Orderâ€). The principal Order provides for an annual fee to be payable by each recognised professional body based on the number of members authorised by that body to act as insolvency practitioners as at 1st January in each year.
These Rules amend the Greater London Authority Elections Rules 2007 (S.I. 2007/3541) (“the 2007 Rulesâ€). Specifically they amend the Constituency Members Election Rules in Schedules 1 and 5 (“the CMERâ€), the London Members Election Rules in Schedules 2 and 6 (“the LMERâ€), and the Mayoral Election Rules in Schedules 3 and 7 (“the Mayoral Rulesâ€), to the 2007 Rules, which all make provision in connection with the conduct of elections for the Greater London Authority (“the GLAâ€). The amendments made by these Rules will apply in relation to elections to the GLA in respect of which the date of the poll stated in the notice of election is on or after 7th May 2020.
This Order specifies certain pension schemes to be public service pension schemes for the purposes of Part 4 of the Finance Act 2004.
This Order, which applies in Great Britain, amends the Electricity and Gas (Energy Company Obligation) Order 2018 (“the 2018 Orderâ€).
These Regulations amend the Eggs and Chicks (England) Regulations 2009 (S.I. 2009/2163) and the Poultrymeat (England) Regulations 2011 (S.I. 2011/452) to adjust references in the enforcement provisions within those Regulations to Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ No L 347, 20.12.2013, p. 671) and Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 (OJ No L 299, 16.11.2007, p. 1).
The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme Regulations 2012 (S.I. 2012/3038) (“the 2012 Regulationsâ€) implement Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a scheme for greenhouse gas emission allowance trading within the Community (OJ L No 275, 25.10.2004, p. 32) (“the Directiveâ€).
The National Health Service Commissioning Board and Clinical Commissioning Groups (Responsibilities and Standing Rules) Regulations 2012 (S.I. 2012/2996) (“Standing Rulesâ€) make provision for, amongst other things, the right to request a personal health budget.
Section 84 of the Pension Schemes Act 1993 (c. 48) requires pensions and other benefits under occupational pension schemes to be revalued by the final salary method (which is dealt with in Schedule 3 to that Act). For the purposes of that revaluation, and as required by paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 to that Act, this Order specifies the necessary revaluation percentages for the purpose of the revaluation on, or after, 1st January 2020 of benefits under occupational pension schemes. It is not necessary to specify a lower revaluation percentage for revaluation periods which start before 1st January 2009.
The Order, made under the Scotland Act 1998 (“the Scotland Actâ€), provides for certain functions conferred on the Secretary of State by section 2 of the Employment and Training Act 1973 (“the 1973 Actâ€) to make arrangements to help young people retain employment, so far as they are exercisable in or as regards Scotland, to be exercisable concurrently by the Scottish Ministers.
These Regulations make provision in respect of deactivated firearms and amend the Firearms (Northern Ireland) Order 2004 (“the 2004 Orderâ€) (S.I. 2004/702) (N.I. 3) in order to complete the implementation in the United Kingdom of Directive (EU) 2017/853 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 May 2017 (“the 2017 Directiveâ€) amending Council Directive 91/477/EEC (“the 1991 Directiveâ€) on control of the acquisition and possession of weapons. Measures have also been implemented in respect of England and Wales and Scotland through the Firearms (Amendment) (No.2) Rules 2019.
In relation to each financial year the Greater London Authority (“the Authorityâ€) is required to make the calculations set out in section 85 of the Greater London Authority Act 1999 (“the 1999 Actâ€), including the calculation of its consolidated council tax requirement.
These Regulations amend social security and tax credits legislation to reflect the United Kingdom’s transition to trade and partnership agreements, which replace association agreements concluded with third countries under Article 217 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, as a consequence of the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union.
