This Order is made following a review under section 148AC(1) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 (c. 5) (“the Administration Actâ€) (revaluation for transitional pensions under Pensions Act 2014 (c.19)).
Regulation 9 of the Criminal Legal Aid (General) Regulations 2013 (S.I. 2013/9) (“the General Regulationsâ€) makes provision about criminal proceedings for the purposes of section 14(h) of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (c. 10) (“the 2012 Actâ€). These Regulations amend regulation 9 of the General Regulations to prescribe as criminal proceedings for the purposes of the 2012 Act, proceedings under sections 1, 4, 5 and 7 of the Stalking Protection Act 2019 (c. 9) (“the 2019 Actâ€) in relation to stalking protection orders and interim stalking protection orders.
These Regulations amend the Plant Health etc. (Fees) (England) Regulations 2018 (S.I. 2018/289) (the “2018 Regulationsâ€) which specify fees payable to the Secretary of State in relation to plant health services and the certification of seed potatoes and fruit plants and fruit plant propagating material.
This Order is made following a review under section 148AD(1) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 (c. 5) (revaluation of new state pension debits and credits).
The Schedule contains arrangements between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of Gibraltar dealing with the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance. The Order brings those arrangements into effect.
