This Order of Council provides for the recognition of the degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Science (BVMSci) conferred by the University of Surrey. Such recognition entitles the holder of that degree, after satisfying the relevant requirements of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as to procedure and payment of a fee, to be registered in the Register of the Veterinary Surgeons, which confers membership of the College.
These Regulations introduce variable speed limits to—the north-westbound and south-eastbound carriageways of the M6 motorway between junctions 2 and 4;entry roads and exit roads at junctions 2, 3 and 4 of the M6 motorway; andshort sections of the north-westbound and south-eastbound carriageways of the M6 Toll motorway between junction 3A of the M6 motorway and junction 7A of the M42 motorway.
These Regulations amend the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) (Carcinogens and Mutagens) Regulations 2007 (S.I. 2007/3100) (“the 2007 Regulationsâ€) and the Mines Regulations 2014 (S.I. 2014/3248) (“the 2014 Regulationsâ€). They implement, in relation to United Kingdom ships (as defined by regulation 2 of the 2007 Regulations), Directive 2017/2398/EC (OJ No. L345, 27.12.2017, p. 87-95), which amends Directive 2004/37/EC on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work. They also make provision to implement Directive 2017/2398/EC in relation to coal mine workers in Great Britain.
These Regulations amend the Schedule to the Mesothelioma Lump Sum Payments (Conditions and Amounts) Regulations 2008 (S.I. 2008/1963) (“the 2008 Regulationsâ€) by substituting revised tables of the amount of lump sum payments payable to people with diffuse mesothelioma or to their surviving dependants.
These Regulations amend the National Minimum Wage Regulations 2015 (“the 2015 Regulationsâ€). These Regulations come into force on 1st April 2020.
This Order specifies 1.7 per cent. as the percentage by which that part of guaranteed minimum pensions attributable to earnings factors for the tax years 1988-89 to 1996-97 and payable by contracted-out, defined benefit occupational pension schemes is to be increased. Under section 109(3) of the Pension Schemes Act 1993 (c. 48) the percentage to be specified is the actual percentage increase in the general level of prices in the period under review or 3 per cent., whichever is less.
These Regulations, which apply to England only, make provision to enforce Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/127 of 25 September 2015 supplementing Regulation (EU) No. 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the specific compositional and information requirements for infant formula and follow-on formula and as regards requirements on information relating to infant and young child feeding (O.J. No. L 25, 2.2.2016, p. 1, “Delegated Regulation 127â€).
