These Regulations make amendments to secondary legislation in consequence of Regulations made under the Employment Rights Act 1996 and Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992, which make provision for entitlements to bereavement leave and pay for parents following the death of a child.
These Regulations relate to the treatment under Part 12ZD of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 of persons abroad, persons who work as mariners and persons who work on the continental shelf. The effect is that certain persons who would otherwise not fulfil the qualifying conditions for entitlement to statutory parental bereavement pay because of the nature of their employment or the fact that they are outside the United Kingdom will have an entitlement to such pay.
This Order inserts ‘an EEA country health professional’ and ‘an approved country health professional’ into the definition of ‘appropriate practitioner’ in Note (2B) to item 1 of Group 12 of Schedule 8 to the Value Added Tax Act 1994.
These Regulations apply to England only.
This Order amends Part I of Schedule 2 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (c. 69), which lists birds that may be killed or taken outside the close season, meaning to do so would not be an offence under section 1 of that Act. The list currently includes the White-fronted Goose (in England and Wales only).
These Regulations provide for the funding of employers’ liabilities to make payments of statutory parental bereavement pay; they also impose obligations on employers in connection with such payments and confer powers on the Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (“the Commissionersâ€).
These Regulations, which apply to the United Kingdom, amend the Branded Health Service Medicines (Costs) Regulations 2018 (the “Statutory Scheme Regulationsâ€). The Statutory Scheme Regulations, amongst other matters, make a scheme for the purposes of requiring specific manufacturers and suppliers of medicines, for NHS use, to pay amounts to the Secretary of State. These amounts are calculated by reference to their net sales income or estimated net sales income from supplies of such medicines.
This Order designates specified central government bodies in relation to named government departments for the purpose of those departments’ supply estimates and resource accounts.
These Regulations, which apply in relation to England only, amend the Addition of Vitamins, Minerals and Other Substances (England) Regulations 2007 (S.I. 2007/1631) (“the 2007 Regulationsâ€).
These Regulations amend the Road Vehicles (Defeat Devices, Fuel Economy and Type-Approval) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 (S.I. 2018/673) “the 2018 Regulations†for the purposes of the coming into force of a new test procedure for measuring CO2 emissions from passenger cars.
