In consequence of modifications to statutory provisions made by the Coronavirus Act 2020 (c. 7), until those modifications expire these Rules make the following temporary amendments to the Criminal Procedure Rules 2015, S.I. 2015/1490:
These Rules make temporary amendments to the various rules which apply in the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal. Rule 1 provides that the amendments made by the Rules will expire on the same day as section 55(b) of the Coronavirus Act 2020.
The Employment Appeal Tribunal Rules 1993 (“the 1993 Rulesâ€) are the rules governing procedure in the Employment Appeal Tribunal. These Rules temporarily amend the 1993 Rules to specify that a hearing may be conducted by means of electronic communication. The amendment made by the Rules will expire on the same day as section 55(b) of the Coronavirus Act 2020.
