These Regulations make amendments to the Early Years Foundation Stage (Learning and Development Requirements) Order 2007 (“the 2007 Orderâ€) and the Early Years Foundation Stage (Welfare Requirements) Regulations 2012 (“the 2012 Regulationsâ€) which modify and disapply certain requirements imposed under the 2007 Order and the 2012 Regulations. The amendments are being made in order to assist the early years’ sector during the coronavirus outbreak. There is a duty on the Secretary of State to keep the operation of the amendments under review.
This instrument amends the Non-Domestic Rating (Rates Retention) Regulations 2013 (“Rates Retention Regulationsâ€) and the Non-Domestic Rating (Transitional Payments Protection) Regulations 2013 (“TPP Regulationsâ€). This instrument defers the payment of some instalments of the “central share†of non-domestic rating income by billing authorities. This instrument also changes the dates by which billing authorities must make and certify end-of-year calculations required for the business rates retention and transitional protection payment regimes.
These Regulations amend the School Admissions (Appeals Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2012 (“the 2012 regulationsâ€) for appeals brought under sections 94 and 95 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (as amended) and lodged—on or after 24th April 2020 but on or before 31st January 2021;before 24th April 2020 but where the appeal has not been fully determined on or before that date.
These Regulations apply to England only.
