RJM International has officially been presented with a King’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its outstanding achievement in International Trade.
On Thursday 10 September 2026, the Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, Mr Nigel Atkinson, visited RJM’s headquarters in Winchester to formally present the King’s Award trophy and certificate to Managing Director, John Goldring.
The occasion brought together RJM’s UK-based team, alongside senior colleagues from its operations in the USA and Asia-Pacific. The company was also joined by a number of key suppliers and distinguished guests, including Simon Tufnell, Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire; Jamie Scott, Mayor of Winchester; Laura Taylor, Chief Executive of Winchester City Council; and Lucille Thompson, Winchester City Council’s Cabinet Member for Business & Culture.
Recognising International SuccessThe King’s Award for Enterprise is the UK’s most prestigious business award, recognising companies that demonstrate exceptional achievements across a range of categories. RJM received the award for its sustained success in expanding overseas trade and delivering strong international growth over the past three years.
Reflecting on the achievement, John Goldring, Managing Director of RJM International, said:
“This award is granted to those businesses that have achieved three years’ of consistently strong turnover growth in overseas markets. For us, over the past three years, this has meant good sales in Sweden, Spain, Turkey and Kosovo, as well as further afield in the USA, Malaysia and Australia.
“All of these projects have been quite different, so what this confirms to me is that no matter where in the world a power plant is, and no matter what the combustion technology or the type of fuel, RJM has a viable solution that can help that plant improve efficiency, cut its emissions, raise its MWe output – and increasingly – help it on its transition to net zero.”
The award highlights RJM’s expertise in helping power plants around the world improve performance, reduce emissions and support the transition towards cleaner energy generation.
Celebrating Partnerships and Looking AheadRecognising the important role that specialist engineering fabricators play in its international success, RJM invited leading UK and overseas component suppliers to join the celebrations. The event included presentations and workshop sessions designed to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships and discuss future opportunities.
Building on the momentum of this latest achievement, RJM is continuing to focus on expanding its presence in key international markets, including Turkey, the USA, Malaysia and Australia.
